» Preparations are well underway for the exhibition of the Wintour vestments to be held here from 23 May. The exhibition will reunite two collections, held at Douai and Stonyhurst, of vestments embroidered by Helen Wintour, daughter of the Gunpowder plotter Robert Wintour. The display cabinets are bespoke, crafted by our own master of all trades, Greg Primavesi. Earlier this week, Jan Graffius and her youthful team arrived from Stonyhurst to set up their half of the exhibition, which is to be held in the Library. Today members of the Royal School of Needlework inspected our vestments, which hitherto were largely unstudied.

» Today Fr Alban attended a luncheon in London of younger old boys of our former school, most of who flourished here in the 90s. Tomorrow Fr Abbot will head up to Kemerton to cover the parish Masses this weekend after Fr Francis was taken ill udring this past week. Please keep Fr Francis in your prayers, and all those on our prayer list.
