Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 1 May 2019
» On 25 April Douai hosted the annual EBC History Symposium. About 20 participants heard papers on the Chevalier Michael Ramsey, the Fort Augustus musician-monk Dom Gregory Ould, the restoration work in the ruins of Reading Abbey and the late 17th century monk of our community, and firm Jacobite, Dom Joseph Kennedy.

» Two days before the symposium, the sad news was received that Jack Eyston, a friend of the community and owner of Mapledurham House, had died. May he rest in peace.
