» Monkly ducklings

Yesterday Fr Gabriel went to Hereford to collect 4 Call ducklings and return them to Douai. The plan is for them to be introduced to the renovated pond in the monks' garden. Recently a couple of Mallards showed interest in moving in to the pond but that interest has proved desultory so far. The duck house recently installed on the pond will be ideal for this infant crew of two drakes and two hens.
