The first in our series of talks centring on consecrated life was given by Fr John Dickson SDB, chaplain at Royal Holloway, who spoke of the charism of the Salesians, with particular attention on the personality of its founder, St John Bosco. Most of the Douai community attended as well as women from a number of religious congregations in the area, along with some lay friends of the the community. The series will continue with an average of one talk per month till the new year.
