» This past week stonemason Ross and his crew have been at work removing the speakers from the two principal pillars in the abbey church and replacing the stone that had once been there. The work proved harder – in both senses of the word – than expected, and it will have to carry on into next week. That means Mass-goers tomorrow must endure scaffolding and dust, and for this we apologize. But it will be worth it in the end.
