Fr Finbar Kealy, abbot of Douai from 1990 to 1998, died on Wednesday, 12 June 2024, in Royal Berkshire Hospital, after a long illness. He had been attended in his last days by both Fr Abbot and Fr Peter. Please join the monastic community in praying for his eternal rest.
Fr Finbar's body will be received into the abbey church at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 2 July.
His funeral Mass, followed by interment in the monastic graveyard, will commence at 11.30am on Wednesday, 3 July.
