Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 1 June 2020
Life in lockdown has thrown most of us, even monasteries, into the digital world more quickly than we might have planned. This past week the abbot's council and trustees met online for the first time using Zoom, joined by our financial advisors. Lasting over 6 hours, the meeting was remarkably smooth and productive. It takes a little getting used to but online meetings have found their moment in the world.

The monastery's Instagram account is being updated regularly, which you can access from the purple Instagram icon at the bottom of the page. The latest picture is of the depiction of Pentecost in a manuscript illumination.
