Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 9 March 2020
» With the recent news of the first UK death from Covid-19 at our nearest general hospital in Reading, the community have thought it prudent to extend its preventative measures to suspending concelebration at Mass indefinitely. This means that there will be only a principal celebrant at Mass, and only he will consume from the chalice.

» Tree surgeons cleared dead and dangerous growth in Eight Acre Gully last week, and began work on the monks' garden, though torrential rain forced the work there to be abandoned.
