Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 26 October 2020
» On Monday 19 October the resident community discussed the situation of the guest department and how it might be restarted following the lifting of pandemic restrictions. Included in the discussion was how more offerings in the pastoral programme might be live-streamed.

» From the same day Abbot Geoffrey and Abbot Edmund began the canonical visitation of Ampleforth Abbey. Due to the pandemic the visitation is being conducted electronically using Zoom and MS Teams, which has enabled Abbot Edmund to play a full part while remaining in Rome while Abbot Geoffrey remains at Douai. The work of the visitation continues this week.

» Soon to start is a course on Christian "Mindfulness" led by Br Christopher and Martin Zetter which will be conducted by Zoom. If you are interested please see further details.
