Covid-19 Guesthouse Closure

Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by in News · 14 March 2020
Today the community took the unhappy but prudent decision to close the monastery guesthouse until 20 April, in light of the increasing spread of the Covid-19 virus, and the probable and imminent imposition of more stringent restrictions by the government on movement and gathering.

This means the concert scheduled in the abbey church on 28 March will no longer take place.

We regret any inconvenience.
